This is the website of Aleksei Konovalov — communication & design, Lausanne. It collects as little data as possible. This page says which data, why, and where it goes.
Who is responsible
Aleksei Konovalov, Lausanne (Switzerland). For any question about your data: alexei@konovalov.ch.
Contact form
When you write to me through the form, I receive what you need (if you tick it), the description of your project, your name and your email. This information is used only to reply to you and discuss your project.
- A copy is kept in the site’s database, hosted by Supabase in Zurich (Switzerland).
- It is sent to me by email through Resend.
- To prevent abuse (3 messages per hour at most), an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address is stored. The IP address itself is not kept.
- Requests are deleted automatically after 2 years.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email is stored with Resend to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to me: your email is then removed from the list.
“Likes”
- On blog articles: to count only one “like” per person, an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address is stored with the article — never the address itself.
- On projects: only a counter is stored.
What your browser keeps
The site uses your browser’s storage for small things: your “likes”, the form draft, the mascot’s reactions during your visit and, if you mute it, that choice for 30 days. This information stays on your device and is not sent to me.
The site uses no analytics and no advertising cookies.
Videos
Some projects show YouTube or Vimeo videos, loaded in no-tracking mode (YouTube without cookies, Vimeo “Do Not Track”). When a video is displayed, YouTube (Google) or Vimeo receive your IP address and apply their own privacy rules.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any host, Vercel keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, date and time) to run and secure the site. The site’s images and videos are stored with Supabase, in Zurich.
